Due to the UEFA Champions League Final, it was stated that IGA Istanbul Airport broke the all-time air traffic record with 1594 landings and takeoffs the previous day, the following were recorded in the statement:

“Our Turkish carriers have taken an important place in the traffic with October with the additional scheduled and charter flights organized with the contributions of our General Directorate.”
